I dont mind 3 years, but definitely no NMC. 2 years at 7 million per would be ideal.Exactly what I’ve been saying. It’s a trap.
Busiest man in the NHL, bar none...So, Bergevin must be “working the phones”, then.
I think the Canadiens have more than enough pylons for their practices. Can't we just pay him a ludicrous amount of money to transition into a front office position?
LOL. I read that and it comes off as Bergevin asking other GMs how he can improve his left side of the defense.LeBrun on TSN690 said that with speaking to other GMs, Bergevin is asking around about strengthening the left side of the defense.

No, no your wording is fine. It's just that English can be so vague you can have some fun with it.
I probably worded it wrong. I see how it could be confusing.
LeBrun spoke to other GMs and the info he got out of them regarding Bergevin is that he's looking for an LD.

He would be a good stopgap for 2 yearsIf that were the case, he’d probably still be in Vancouver.
I also don’t think he’s a solution. He’s older and is going to miss 15 games a season. This isn’t ideal.

Once upon a time ppl were sure Markov was injury prone...
Then he returned healthy and played 4 straight full seasons (first one was 48games due to lockout) & this from 34-38, after having managed only 65 games total the previous 3 years...
But Markov was like an Ironman before all of that. Edler has always had injury issues. Markov’s were related to manor knee issues. Edler hurts in multiple places. It’s an ongoing thing.
Did you just say 7 million for the oft injured edler?? Get outta town man. His career high 49 pts came 8 years ago and he’s not even close to being a pp specialist.I dont mind 3 years, but definitely no NMC. 2 years at 7 million per would be ideal.
Stay away from edler. His body is brokenBut Markov was like an Ironman before all of that. Edler has always had injury issues. Markov’s were related to manor knee issues. Edler hurts in multiple places. It’s an ongoing thing.
Edler would EASILY be our 3rd best dman and it's a 2 year contract. I doubt he is going to sign a 2 year deal tho.Did you just say 7 million for the oft injured elder?? Get outta town man. His career high 49 pts came 8 years ago and he’s not even close to being a pp specialist.
