Why isn't it right if the Habs don't have a superstar marquee player? Is Montreal NOT allowed to have bad seasons as other teams? With 30 other teams (about to be 31), it's kind of hard for every team to have a superstar.

I just know that over the years the fan base to which you refer has been anything but gracious in how they have dealt with the fact that my favourite team went through some struggles. Many of them were downright deplorable. What goes around comes around though I try to be more mature then they were when we had awful teams.

Sabres drafted 1st twice since 1970, and the Canucks never but let's just say the Sedins were both 1st OA quality players. So you have more 1st overall picks then both of them combined in 7 more years, but please explain how Montreal deserves it.

The sabres had four top 8 picks in the past 4 years, which includes two 2nd overall picks.
