He played the 7th most minutes at ES last night among forwards so yes, 2nd/3rd line tweener confirmed. Points, metrics, eye test be damned.I don't know what his play driving stats look like but he's got 10 points in 7 games so far this season and has been the Flyers most dangerous player. Still a 2nd / 3rd line tweener?
Alright we can't be bumping this thread every game and get mad at others who want to bump the Kevin Hayes thread.
Easy, savageI couldn’t possibly give less of a **** if anyone bumps the Kevin Hayes thread.

It's just obnoxious behavior. It's 7 games in, for better or worse.
Certainly not a time to evaluate a contract.
Best 3rd liner in the NHL?TK now with 11 points playing in the 1st in his 8th game. Not bad for a player who's ceiling is 50 pts.
At this point Stewart should be getting more ice time then TK......TK now with 11 points playing in the 1st in his 8th game. Not bad for a player who's ceiling is 50 pts.
It was pretty clear for anyone that has followed TK’s career that this would have turned out to be a very good team friendly signing. I still get a chuckle that he was referred to as a 50 pt player earlier in the thread.oh man lots of people looking foolish
(mostly fans of the blue/white leaf)
24 points in 25 games so far, can't believe people were actually wondering if this was a steal or not. it quite clearly was a steal of a contract.
Under just the new coach, he also played fewer 5-on-5 minutes than Laughton.
Now what if I told you there was a Flyers fan on our main boards that writes long ass novels for his posts, and claims that Konecny "played at a 4th line level" until this year?It was pretty clear for anyone that has followed TK’s career that this would have turned out to be a very good team friendly signing. I still get a chuckle that he was referred to as a 50 pt player earlier in the thread.
ironically, the biggest detractor of the signing/player is the same person who made that foolish John Carlson isn't in the upper-echelon of defensemen thread
Where did I detract the player or signing? He’s a fine player and it was a fine signing. All I ever did was respond to people making outlandish claims that he was already a first liner at the time of the signing.

NoT a FiRsT lInE pLaYeR
Clearly not a first line player.
