Inger the feeling that I'm just older than the people who seems upset with me. I've been watching for 40+ years and have seen Big Bad Bruins teams and the last was the 2011 era. Maybe I'm stuck in the past and haven't fully accepted the brand of hockey that is now. What I do see is that come playoff time, you need the toughness to go with speed and skill. There is still a place for mean and it's in the playoffs.To each their own I guess. I prefer to have supporting evidence to back my opinion, but I'm weird like that I guess

Not sure how to respond. I would make that trade today. Debrusk is a streaky ghost and Nurse is an upgrade on Carlo who could pair with McAvoy.
What happened? Last few years he potted (19, 22, 15). This year he's tied with Anders Bjork.
Olesiak would be a good under the radar addition, buy guy that could add some size and would not cost anywhere near what Ekholm would.
Now, if you were Edmonton, in what world would you trade Nurse for Debrusk?
I'd trade Kase for Connolly with 50% retention. Otherwise, not touching that contract.
