It's a wolf v2.0
i just disagree i guess, that scene right before has tormund right next to guys falling and the middle part of the section that breaks falls first so id how hed outrun it
id prefer to have a different opinion on it though cuz i dont want to be hoping tormund is dead haha
I remembered them 'surviving' but just rewatched it to be sure, and yes they definitely did. May be a bit confusing because there are some time lapses in the scene, like from start to finish it all plays out in maybe 3 minutes yet to march that many zombies from the forest line and get a good horde of them past the wall could maybe take an hour or two.
But the key point is when it cuts back to Tormund and Beric you see them fleeing West from the top of the wall, and the ice breaks up behind them but then it stops. Then you see the big wide shot wall collapse scene which is causing the confusion, but what they're showing is from the point just behind where Tormund/Beric were standing all the way East to the see is what collapsed.
Let's see if this timed embed works...
What you see is cut off point on the west standing strong while everything East to the see collapses. Tormund and Beric made it to that cut off point, which at the point is the only safe zone. Anyone trying to get down the wall is ****ed, anyone on the ground behind the wall if they didn't get caught in the collapse has an army of undead marching on them, but anyone in that safety zone the top of the wall is like a big highway so they can just keep walking west. Well the zombie dragon could always fly over and fry them, but if they didn't show that then it didn't happen.
