I’m also onboard with this. I’m open to whatever, but I’m feeling too insecure about not being voted into the playoffs and so I’d also favor this 31 team playoff format, lol.
Yup, and depending on who you match up with there could be a Cinderella story for a few rounds.

Yeah, I’m cool with this idea too. So in this format we go straight to polls I would assume.

My only concern would be “voter fatigue” from non-league members since you’re adding an extra round and extra 15 polls lol.

I'm good with the first two-three rounds being in house with this idea.

This. Like I said earlier, I think at most final 4 should be polls.

If there are too many options / polls, people won't really look closely at them and just vote by a quick glance best case.

Since more people here put in work, they are more likely to actually look in depth at the teams and we can make our arguments as to why to vote for our team.

I just really prefer in house voting when activity is this good.

I’m still iffy on random seeding though, we might end up with the best matchups in the first 2 rounds which would be anti-climactic.

I’d like to have some form of legit seeding even with a 31 team playoff

Pretty happy that Talbot was available at my pick. Dubnyk's a good goalie but he's inconsistent, so a very good backup was necessary. And his cap hit is reasonable, which is really important given my cap situation.

Eh, there's so much parity I think you could make that argument either way.

I'd hate to see everyone spend weeks on this just to not even make the playoffs.

I’ll take position number 10 and run with it, lol. I think the 10th rank flatters me quite a bit. RIP Botchford’s Leafs got f***ed over the most though, haha. His team is top 3 for sure.

I understand it's stats but. 24-29 just really has me scratching my head. I must say however, I am pleased to have my team in the company of those teams!

I mean, it's not meant to be very accurate. McDavid's the 14th best player in the league according to the rankings.
