He was right about the genetics thing but eating well and exercising 100% does help you liev longer. If you choose to not exercise, eat very unhealthy, and drink all the time and who knows what else, you could give yourself a number of health issues that cause you to die at 50 or 60 instead of living well into your 80s or 90s.lol

Genetics are a thing, but so is diabetes.
Like I have good genetics to live until I'm 90 but if I chose to do those things, become obese, get diabetes, increased blood pressure, cholesterol etc, there's a very good chance I never make it to 90. You don't usually see overweight people living until they're 90.
