Is it goaltending or defense or both? The goaltending numbers are absolutely atrocious across the board for a team with such a perceived strong goalie staff.

Both. The goaltenders have always been inconsistent. Couple that up witha defense corps that has Helgeson, Burroughs, and Mike Cornell as 3 of the 6. Add a forward group that is depleted from injuries and promotions and you get a last place team.

I like him. Big boy, 6’4”, not flashy stay at home type who will take a shot when he has an opening

For anyone else who pays attention to the Sound Tigers, tell me why you think Parker Wotherspoon is an NHL prospect because I never saw it and I still don’t.

If the Tigers could stop making unforced errors they might have a chance. The Phantoms aren’t much better in their D zone.

For anyone else who pays attention to the Sound Tigers, tell me why you think Parker Wotherspoon is an NHL prospect because I never saw it and I still don’t.

Full disclosure, I haven’t made it to a Sound Tiger game this year but from what I saw last year, Wotherspoon was nothing special. MVS, Aho and Hutton (limited games) looked like they had far more potential.

Seems like he’s not only lost stature in the organization but he’s also lost any value as a trading chip.
