I would toss the ball to the 1st line, who havent done anything in the last two games. I havent seen people wanting to get rid of Pasta, Marchand or Bergeron.

Krug has been sensational in the post season. One of the best players in this team and if it wouldnt be Rask he would be at least runner up for the MVP of the post season...if the Bruins win.

Blaming Krug? In my opinion, he's second behind Tuukka for the Conn Smythe, and a close second at that.

There are about 17 other players on the team who should be looking at Krug and following his example. He has played with heart every game this post season - for anyone to criticize his play just shows me they haven't watched a single moment of these playoffs.

The people crying about Krug are the usual crew. It's no shock and it's just fun to see them go back to the whining about him, and showing their lack of knowledge when it comes to the team.

Yeah the second goal was BS but flukey goals happen. Chara and McAvoy both at fault big time on the first. Everyone else was solid. I think the Blues are doing a good enough job keying in on Krug on the PP.

I alternately love and hate this guy,I can't say how many of his passes have been in the skates of the intended receiver.

Torey Krug awaits a special delivery - The Boston Globe

ST. LOUIS — The upcoming week has the potential to be quite a frenzy for Bruins defenseman Torey Krug.

Not only is his team competing in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday night, Krug’s wife, Melanie, is also scheduled to give birth to the couple’s first child any day now. With the Bruins about to play their 24th game of the playoffs — 11 of which were on the road — the past two months have undoubtedly been rather busy.

“She’s getting a little nervous here,” Krug said Monday at the Bruins’ hotel in St. Louis.

The nerves are there for Krug, too, as is the excitement. He said during the conference semifinals that he’s doing his best to “enjoy every second” of the parenthood journey amid Boston’s push for the Cup.

It’s literally hilarious how many times krug touched the puck in this game 7 and the next person to touch the puck was a St. Louis Blue. Him and pasta with an all time worst game 7

18 points in 23 games

Playing like a number 1 dman for a team playing for the Cup

2nd best player for the Bruins in the playoffs

He and his wife are about to have their first child

Life is good for Torey Krug

He’s been the worst defender on the ice for 3 games this series

I like Krug, but you gotta wonder if now is the perfect opportunity to cash in. Lots of hype around him after this SCF. People viewed him as our best player (PP-QB on the best one in the league). While those players are obviously valuable, he may have more valuable to other teams than us with mobile D's in McAvoy and Grzelcyk already on the team. If someone surrenders a late 1st for him? Islanders/Preds at #23/#24. Knights at #17

I feel the same

Krug is a very good PP specialist and also good at stretch passes

but when the game closes up like the way the Blues played, he provides little to no impact

Bruins can't pay everyone plus sign all the young guys

Bruins should start checking the market to see what they could get for him. Sell high

I agree. I loved his game in the finals but with his impending contact and the defensive depth , I think you have to look at trading him. it seems like the quickest path to reloading would be to trade him for someone offensive help.

What does a late first do for us?

This team should be looking at an opportunity to maximize the remaining window. They can't trade core pieces for guys who have a 35% chance to help the team in 2022

If you tell me that you are moving Krug in a deal that brins a 23/24 year old second line RW with term, then maybe that is the move you consider.

As I said in the rebuild thread, I do believe the Bruins need to make the decision between Krug and Gryz longterm this offseason, personally it is a complete no brainer and you keep Krug and deal Gryz, but I do think they should be picking one

I would keep the cheaper Grz and trade Krug

Grz ability to bring out the puck on his own is elite. His PP numbers will also improve as he gets more reps imo

Perhaps, I think his High school level shooting ability will always limit his ability to contribute on the PP or offense in General

Krug made me a believer this post season. I love him and if he will sign a reasonable deal and take a hometown discount I hope the Bruins resign him July 1.

If he won't take a discount, trade him 1 for 1 for Taylor Hall who also has 1 year left on his deal.
