Eriksson is one of the best all around players in NHL ,, Guy is criminally underrated playing in Dallas

The Bruins are getting someone who only is entering the peak years of his career (He is only 27)

That simply isn't true. For wingers, 23-28 is the peak. Eriksson is on the backside of his career. Its not like he's going to fall of a cliff but you should expect his future trajectory to be slowly downward from here, not upward.

And frankly, I think Eriksson has gotten such a reputation for being under-rated that he's become over-rated. He's very good, but you know what, so is Seguin. And its not like Erikkson is the Patrick Elias kind of two-way force on the wing that can carry a line.

Loui Eriksson has to waive his no trade to make this trade official from Dallas. He is doing that now. #NHL

Bruce Garrioch most probably has zero sources nor inside information in this trade. Just tweeting the obvious.

Yet he was the first to say that the Habs were looking to move Cole...we all laughed and then Cole got traded a couple of days after.

Why would anyone overpay to get Seguin. Boston is the one who wants to move him, they are in a cap pinch, he has off-ice issues...why give the moon? Let Boston sit on that.

Joe Morrow is believed to be one of the pieces going from DAL to BOS. Also, perhaps Reilly Smith and Matt Fraser. Looking for confirmation.

Trade call between Boston and Dallas is about to begin, or is just underway...according to source.

Despite his "okay-rich" contract, despite news of his "unprofessionalism", GM's still believe Seguin's ceiling is quite high, maybe higher than Eriksson. And he has a couple years to reach it.

A lot can happen between now and 2-3 seasons for Seguin.

Obviously today, I think the Bruins are becoming a better team.

I like how Chiarelli has the balls to make these trades - even if the player just signed an extension.

Per a source, Rich Peverley involved in Tyler Seguin trade discussions w/Dallas Stars. B's could clear almost $5M in cap space #BruinsTalk

How is Patrick Holland doing? Just got me thinking about the last time we traded a good player (Cammalleri).
