In 50 years she will be.
Hamhuis to Toronto E4
To be honest...
I am worried that she will lose her voice.
Right now she is putting a lot of stress on her vocal chords...
She already had surgery a short while ago.
Agreed. Also, if you're straining your vocal chords that badly, then you're not singing correctly.
We also need to start brainstorming titles for the next OT thread since we are less than 100 posts away.
In other news, I played a few hours of "The Last of Us" and really enjoyed it. Will hopefully get some more playing time in before work tomorrow, or today I guess it is
Very engaging story that has me hooked. Also it has some neat, but simple enough game controls and mechanics.
About 4 hours into my shift (working concession at the movies) I took someone's order, grabbed a popcorn bag and asked if they wanted popcorn in it.
I had meant to ask if they had wanted butter, but royally ****ed up. It was really dead at the time so all of my fellow employees got a nice laugh.
That is the part I am not too sure of.
She is able to hit all the right notes...
And she shows great technique...
But it is not effortless...
Like Whitney Houston.
It may just be physical limitations.
Her voice is naturally deep...
And she is forcing herself to hit all the high notes.

I thought that "butter" liquid death had been banned from theatres?
It's cool.
I am pretty sure you caught it right away...
It is just one of those days.
I'm probably picking it up tomorrow. It's been so hard for me to avoid spoilers/videos.
As for the next thread title, maybe something allergy related...or embarrassing work stories edition.
Blue Jays with another impressive win. Playoffs don't seem quite as crazy as they did 2 weeks ago.

Missed the game today, but saw the score - loving this streak. This is the Blue Jays team we thought we were getting at the start of the year, well, maybe not 11 straight wins kind of team, but one that can challenge and make the playoffs. Dickey needs to find his game, and we'll be set.
Dickey have been weird all year.
One game he will be his Cy Young self...
And the next he becomes a pitching coach who tees off to the batters.
He had been lucky that the Jays give him such big run support.
Still...
I think he started to catch fire in July last year...
So hopefully that will be the case this year too.
Jose Reyes will be back soon as well - huge addition to a team that has already won 11 straight. Kawasaki, sadly, may be sent down though - love his game, as does the Rogers Center - Ka-wa-saki!
Yeah...
Unfortunately Kawasaki's contract makes him the only candidate to drop...
As he still have options.
Good news is that Reyes serves the same purpose as Kawasaki...
And it will be great to have a lead off man who batted around .400 before he got hurt.
Even if that drops...
And it probably will...
He is still a career .300 hitter.
With him back...
It will be Reyes-Cabrera-Bautista-Encarnacion-Lind at the top of the order.
Love to see what these guys can do now.
Apparently Dickey's back (IIRC) isn't 100%, so that is obviously going to hinder his pitching. I'm willing to give Dickey time before judgement.
Ahh...
That could be it.
It probably is not too serious...
Because he still moves around in the dugout...
And he is joking with his teammates.
Getting Reyes back is going to be huge. Don't forget, Lawrie is also missing, so getting these two guys back would be massive additions to an already rolling Jays lineup.
True.
But Lawrie will be out for a little while yet.
I think he just got out of his cast...
And he has not started any baseball activities yet.
So glad to have Bonifacio and Izturis though.
Despite not hitting well...
They can play multiple positions relatively well...
And they give Gibbons options to shift his players around so that nothing is lost defensively.
Izturis himself is also pretty good at 3rd base...
So Lawrie can take his time.
Yeah, Lawrie did just come out of his cast, but hopefully he can start baseball activates, or rehabbing soon. But like you said, no rush right now, since Izturis has been not bad. I think he's been coming around, especially lately, so that's a good sign. It's sure nice to have guys like Izturis and Kawasaki to fill in for injured players like Lawrie and Reyes - shows our depth.
