And there is far more to being a leader than being the best vet with the young guys. Like being a leader in the room, on the ice, off the ice, etc.

They're both leaders in different ways. Kane is more quiet but will work with the young guys in practice while Toews will speak up in the room. Both are needed.

I'm on the old end of being a boomer. Born in 1949. I was a college professor, and I often had to show students how to find stuff online (other than porn and illegal music-downloading sites, that is.)

As a boomer I have worked in IT for virtually all of my working days. I have found that many young people are very accomplished at interacting with GUIs designed for ease of use and dummies. Most wouldn't have the vaguest idea of what DOS is or the actual computing that is going on underneath the GUI.... but they think they know everything because they can click on icons.

Most of the Boomers I know who work in IT right now....are f***ing terrible at their job. They take 4-5 times as long to complete a task as the rest of us. Now maybe they just know how to milk time better. Who knows. Take that for what it's worth. lol

I think time has proven Kane is a far more valuable player than Toews and they probably still win in 2013 without Toews but any team losing their 1C or best scoring weapon will suffer.
