The difference is that this year we have a turtle derby for the 8th spot. Despite the turtle derby the canucks in true commitment to the tank are still losing ground. Solid all round effort boys.

Regulation loss tonight pulls the Kings within 4 of the canucks and they hold two games in hand.

Hawks win against the Devils couple with canucks loss will put them ahead of the canucks in the standings (tied in points, less games).

Crossing fingers the Yotes can stop the streaking Blues. The Blues have started to build a cushion they can afford to lose a game. Again coupled with a canucks loss, the Yotes would move ahead (tied on points, less games)

Getting teams in between the canucks and that final wild card is important. The more teams in the way the harder it is to make your way back into that spot.
