Keeping a generational talent in the minors for service time reasons for over a year will do that

I got a pair of tickets to the game this Saturday from a client. Now I'm even more excited to go.

Pro: I'll get to watch at least the first 4-6 innings of the game.

Con: I have WHL tickets and it's an elimination game, so I'm not staying home to watch all of the game. So chances are he'll hit walk-off HR.

5 minutes after the call up: Cheapest ticket was $22
Last night: $20
Now: $17.84

In the 100 section behind home plate;
5 minutes after the call up: Cheapest ticket was $45
Last night: $70
Now: $85

Might not be a sellout but the ticket prices are rising.

I bought tickets from TM in 128 for $63 incl. fees and they are now $76.50. Glad they got to use the dynamic pricing system for one game this year!

Seems like an unnecessary PR move that will put more pressure on him (as if the expectations aren't high enough already).

1. I'm pretty sure they do that anyways for a 7pm start time
2. He's the son of one of the best hitters to ever play the game, he's had pressure his entire life
3. Superstars are going to be superstars regardless of things like this, it's nothing to worry about.

Adams 3-3 with a homerun and 4 rbi (average up to .375).

First guy gets on due to an error. Second player doubles. 2nd and 3rd no out and Pearson strikes out the next three batters. The first two batters he struck out were on 3 pitches each. He's getting a ton of swings and misses.

So unfortunately the no no got broken up in the 5th after a error and a double. But fortunately in a tense 12-0 game it's good to have a pitcher on the mound who can just K the next 3 guys swinging to get out of it maintaining the close 12 run lead
