We don't have any need for Ghostisbehere.
Makes no sense. Trockeck is signed on a team friendly deal for the next several years. Why would they trade him
Also why would they trade period, unless UFA to be Dadanov or Hoffman have indicated they won't resign
they are on the playoffs cusp
The Panthers don't need another Offensive defenseman so you are very far off.gostisbehere + for trocheck? how far off is that
He's been brutal this season. His value is at an all time low with that contract. He’s actually been pretty good this year and was great last year in the playoffs.
PDB also said last year he was going through personal problems almost all year and his struggles looked like a lack of concentration/effort rather than him losing a step.
It was also said that teams were interested in him at the beginning of the year, which his value has to have gone up since then.
He’s been much, much better this year than last. Ask any Sharks fan who’s watched the majority of the games. And there was interest in him at the beginning of the season before he picked his play back up.The Panthers don't need another Offensive defenseman so you are very far off.

That’s a really bad chart to evaluate a player like Vlasic, especially when he’s on a putrid team as that chart is relative to the league, not SJ, and even then still wouldn’t be adjusted for zone starts, quality of competition, and quality of teammates.
a chart that compares where he gives up shots while on the ice compared to the rest of the NHL is a bad way to grade how good a defenseman is defensively? Wat?That’s a really bad chart to evaluate a player like Vlasic, especially when he’s on a putrid team as that chart is relative to the league, not SJ, and even then still wouldn’t be adjusted for zone starts, quality of competition, and quality of teammates.
Vlasic is the leading defenseman that has played for more than a handful of game for SJ in CF% and XGF% for both QoT and QoC. That seems like a much better metric to use than your chart.
Vlasic is constantly given D zone starts against the toughest competition the other team has to offer.
There’s zero context in that.a chart that compares where he gives up shots while on the ice compared to the rest of the NHL is a bad way to grade how good a defenseman is defensively? Wat?
Well I think that it's more about teams asking for Trocheck instead of the Panthers shopping him. And add to that the fact that a lot Panthers fans are upset with Trocheck right now and are freely talking trade, it might give the wrong impression.Makes no sense. thats understood we are asking who is the best starting point. Nuti is younger and more well rounded while savard is older but has established himself as a stand out defender who is probably top 3 to 5 shot blocker in the league. Nuti can play either side. Both can and have played #2. Nuti has been playing #2 since jones went down.Neither is enough to get Trocheck
What would we have to add to include Jost in that deal?To Colorado for Zadorov

As far as adds go what other positions do you need?
Other FLA have been very in favor of savard but im talking to you now so who is your starting point. D wise Z, Jones, and Gavrikov are obviously off the table. Offense wise nothing like Bjorkstrand Bemstrom and foudy again obviously.Neither is a good starting point.
What would we have to add to include Jost in that deal?
There’s no deal to be made then.Other FLA have been very in favor of savard but im talking to you now so who is your starting point. D wise Z, Jones, and Gavrikov are obviously off the table. Offense wise nothing like Bjorkstrand Bemstrom and foudy again obviously.
We arent talking about Barkov here of course Jones and Bjorkstrand arent on the table...There’s no deal to be made then.
The panthers are rumored to be talking with the Wild about Brodin. Someone who is considered one of, if not the best defensive defenseman in the NHL. So for the Panthers to do a deal with CBJ, they’d need a similar return from the blue jackets. The guys they have available don’t fit the caliber of player the panthers are looking for so there isn’t a deal to be made. Read Portzline’s recent article about fan created trades. Even he says a Nuti is not a good base for Trocheck. We arent talking about Barkov here of course Jones and Bjorkstrand arent on the table...
Portzline is no better then a CBJ board poster. Literally go ask anyone who he is connected with its.nobody even when he was the beat writter he was alwaya beat to the story or wrong about it 2hile others got the real story. Your using something commonly referred to as fake news. The panthers are rumored to be talking with the Wild about Brodin. But he posted a chart! Don't you know that all the best players in the league just happen to be the ones who get the easiest minutes on the best teams? That’s a really bad chart to evaluate a player like Vlasic, especially when he’s on a putrid team as that chart is relative to the league, not SJ, and even then still wouldn’t be adjusted for zone starts, quality of competition, and quality of teammates.
