I'm about to give 1-2 to Toronto and Edmonton by default but we can not rise any higher than 3, still though it's nice when they win.

Meh. Nice to see the youngins light the lamp a lot tonight, but I'm still pretty jaded about this whole season.

Still think the best thing is to continue losing in hopes for a real shot next season.

PLD, Chychrun, Juolevi, Puljujarvi... which do we need the most if we pick 3rd and Matthews/Laine are both gone?

So the team sucks for most of the season dashing the hopes of all the fans... now when we need the team to lose they start winning... again killing the hopes of the fans.

So who are we drafting 8th?

They were never gonna lose them all and people believing they would were setting themselves up for disappointment.

There are still losses in our schedule coming, so don't fret too much IMO

My guess is 73pts. 5th before the lottery

Pump the brakes a bit. We just played two teams who had terrible nights so I don't think the doom and gloom is quite warranted yet. We drop a clean 2 points in Calgary and we are back on track. We are fielding a pretty brutal line up so I am not expecting a big run of any sort. Vancouver had just come off two strait wins so even the worst of the worst are picking up some points.

It's weird for wins to be the cause of doom gloom. Oh how things change in a year.

so that means about 76 points which last year would have been 6th pick

Buffalo's 4-4-2 in the last 10.
Philly's fighting for a playoff spot.
Minnesota's fighting to hold on to their last playoff spot.
that's likely 2 more losses added to your tally. 4-9

Hard to imagine us winning both games with CHI, given that they will be fighting for playoff positioning.

I think it will depend on how much the Jets use their youth instead of vets with nagging injuries or the flu. But goaltending will probably be the biggest factor.

Both home games - I say we shock Chicago in both of them. Might go to OT in one if not both, but we win those.
