Literally everyone is beatable. You're not saying anything there.
But then you said the PK was the ONLY reason we won the series. If you just admitted that you weren't a deep team, that would be something working against you wouldn't it? So the PK wouldn't be the only reason then right?
Maybe I should clarify? There are teams that are built elite, and dominant. See Ottawa this year, London in the past, Oshawa in 2015 or even 2014 Guelph. These are teams that you may realistically expect to steal a game or two against, but probably not beat over 7 games.
Saginaw is not one of those teams. They’re a great team, yes. But, they’re prone to producing turnovers and can be shut down fairly easily with a neutral zone trap and good puck moving dman that can control and retrieve the puck in the dzone, and drive play the other way 5 on 5.
Saginaw PK was undeniably the difference maker in the second round.
It’s not unreasonable to see them lose this series, or any past the first round. That’s all I mean by beatable, they’re just not as far above the other teams as other have been. It’s incredibly good for the league. With Prosvetov out, the odds are better.
