Nice your ignorant saginaw fan can give kids the middile finger with no repreconsion but when our player gets harrassed and thrown stuff at him by stupid fans he get suspended by responding to ignorance...Remenerber these are kids being harrassed and dhouldnt have to deal wtih this stuff....that so called women who I wouldnt cal a lady and these fans harrassing and throwing stuff at a young person to intess them to givong the finger to cath them on camera is a peice of shit..grow up saginaw fans..you dont see us in soo giving kids the finger and intessing your kids with yelling at these kids and throwing stuff at them wanting to get them to respond like peca had to deal with.
Soo fans being angry about Peca being suspended yet being the same fan base that racially harrassed/threatened Givani Smith to the point the OHL brought in police to escort them to and from the game and protect him in the press box after doing the literal exact same thing is next level irony.
Should the lady have flipped off #17? Of course not. It was dumb and obscene gestures have no place at sporting events around children. Should Peca have flipped off fans knowing it was a 2 game suspension. No that's even dumber.
Both of them suck. Move on
This crap happens everywhere, it's part of the game, Peca was on the unfortunate receiving end of it. players are held to a higher standard regardless what the fans do or say, we need to just suck it up and move forward
Every rink on any given night whether it is Junior A or at a peewee house league game you always find people with no class. They yell at their own kids, scream at the other team like mortal enemies l guess what l am trying to say is was that lady right, hell no. Hockey is a game of emotional highs and lows some just take it to far. I can remember in the early 80's getting in a fight going to the box to receive hot coffee thrown at me by a couple fans. That in the day was just another game in Fort Erie.
Well, big day with hopefully a big win!!
The last two games have not been pretty. I am a huge Laz fan and would love to see his career move forward after the next two years in Saginaw, but I'd say he's been out coached the past two games.
Soo has and will play Hayton and Frost so one of the guys are on the ice every shift. They are playing to win, they don't roll four lines.
Laz needs to play our top guys a lot more early and not wait until end of game and defence needs to be physical on the Soos top players. Saginaw is deep with four good lines, but I'd have Tippett, McLeod and Gilmour on the ice a lot more than they are. These guys need to get things rolling early. Again, we are fortunate to have four deep lines, but tonight in Game 6, our top players need ice time.
Having Jenkins on the lower lines as well is ridiculous. One bad shift or off shift and his ice time is on fourth line. This kid needs to be on ice a lot more along with Coskey. I'd like to see Perfetti play with coskey and Jenkins. Third line of Giroux, Porco and Busdeker, and fourth with Michnac, Babar and Goldoski. And of course, our goalie needs to be outstanding!

BTW I seem to remember not to long ago some of your outstanding fans booing a 16 year old getting a much deserved star. We all have our fans who forget this is game played by YOUNG men trying to further there lifelong dreams that most people have never achieved.
Hope for a great clean game where the better team or the one who gets the lucky bounces wins. Hope if our boys win they do so with a level of class and let the hometown celebrate a great season by their team.

To be honest, as a Greyhounds' fan I have a problem with what you said. Noting that you just joined this forum on March 27, 2019, I will cut you some slack for the tone of your post.
Helpful suggestion: Try NOT posting comments on contentious issues in the middle of the night when your mind is clouded by lack of sleep or whatever. I find things always look better in the clear light of day.
And it would really help your cause if you could edit your postings for spelling and sentence structure. We know what you are trying to say but the mistakes really blunt the impact of your message.
Anyway, bottom line on the issue you raised is that both fan bases have their undesirable elements. They are a very small minority. Let's not try to start a war here when all anybody really wants is to see good hockey played!

I was at that game as well (it was more like 5 guys the whole game)there are very few games in the Soo between our teams that I miss including preseason.
I could have also talked about the folks sitting by us on Thursday who were laughing about Giroux being injured as he was laying there on the ice. Kids and adults both. We both have people who I will not call fans that are not the type of people we particularly enjoy being around at games.
Hope for a great game with no injuries, unfortunately I am not able to make the trip for tonight's game due to the late hour of the start and a very heavy work schedule tomorrow. I will be watching and cheering from home.

Those other guys that you mentioned Don't sit near us. We do have one big, obnoxious guy who yells a lot but he really doesn't know much about hockey. I just hope for a good, clean game. Obviously we do want different results!
I'm not defending what Peca did, but please don't spread uninformed lies about the Givani Smith thing. It was never true.
