I don't post much anymore since getting married last year, but here goes.

Name: Tricia
Age: 34
Height/Weight/Build: 5'11", 153, slender/average
Occupation: Occupational purgatory as my husband is currently between jobs
Currently residing in: Gainesville, Florida
Hometown: Tempe, Arizona
Pets: Lucy, recently departed 13-year-old Brittany dog
Kids: None
Number of HFers met IRL: ck26, awfulwaffle, HowlOfRevel, IPreferPi, 0point1, EchoesoftheEighties, probably some more I forgot

Coyotes fan since: 2002
Favorite All-Time Coyote: Anyone who doesn't answer Shane Doan should be banned :sarcasm:
Favorite Current Coyote: Tough one. I'm going to say Christian Dvorak today, but if you ask me tomorrow I might have a different answer.
Favorite Non-Coyote: Also a tough one. I'll say Roberto Luongo if retired players count, and Marc-André Fleury if they don't.
Other Sports: I watch the NFL (Cardinals and Buccaneers) because it's easy to follow, and my husband makes me watch Tampa Bay Rays games with him, which I enjoy, but neither as much as hockey. I also keep up somewhat with international rugby, international cricket, and major tennis tournaments.

Favorite Cuisine/Restaurant/Dish: Szechuan, Hunan, Jiangsu, Fujian, Punjabi, Italian... I just like a wide variety I guess. I love to cook, though not necessarily to eat (if I'm preparing food for only myself I rarely bother putting much effort into cooking). If I'm feeling uncreative I can never go wrong with pizza and wings. If I'm feeling creative I'll put something together like steamed dumplings, baked buns, some kind of noodle/pasta dish, rice balls, or butter chicken. I also prefer to cook from scratch, although some major shortcuts I take are canned ingredients and store bought dough, noodles, and dumpling wrappers. Half of what I cook tends to be dishes from (or influenced by) various regions in southern China (I'm of partial Chinese descent).
Favorite Beverage: V8 juice, jasmine tea (non-alcoholic), sweet rosé wine (alcoholic)
Favorite Shows: Breaking Bad, Psych, Better Call Saul, The Crown, The Man in the High Castle, Parks and Recreation, Firefly
Favorite Movies: Anything Monty Python, Frozen, Spaceballs, Hero, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Ip Man, Ong Bak
Favorite Books: Hitchhiker's Guide, Dirk Gently, Good Omens, anything Terry Pratchett in general
Favorite Music: I rarely listen to much music since I've spent most of my life performing it instead, but my favorite composers for various categories are Frederic Chopin (piano), John Rutter (choral), Richard Wagner (opera), Steven Reineke (concert band), and I also enjoy listening to Pentatonix's arrangement of songs.
Favorite Games: I like open-world sandbox games like Factorio (currently binging it), Cities: Skylines, OpenTTD, as well as some sports games. I don't upgrade versions every year so I've ended up with Super Mega Baseball 3, Madden 09, NHL 09, and Tiger Woods 07 as my go-to games when I'm feeling playing that particular sport. I also don't do consoles at all.
Preferred vehicle: Anything with a manual transmission and rear-wheel drive is good in my book.

Selfie: I look terrible right now but here's one I dug up:

Occupation: EdTech
Currently residing in: Tempe, AZ
Hometown: Tempe, AZ
Pets: Brain the cat
Kids: 0

Coyotes fan since: 1996-2002, then again from 2009 and on.
Favorite All-Time Coyote: Yandle (reason why I got back into them after missing most of the Gretzky years)
Favorite Current Coyote: Garland and Dvo
Favorite Non-Coyote: Austin Matthews, Hedman, Svechnikov is getting up there too
Other Sports: Football (pro or college)

Favorite Cuisine/Restaurant/Dish: I'll eat just about anything. Been loving Northern Thai food since going to Night Market in L.A. Glai Baan is an excellent version of this in Phoenix. Bread Fruit is some great fancy Jamaican food with a great rum bar. A good pizza is a thing of beauty as well and have been enjoying them from Nellos since they opened.
Favorite Beverage: Adult: Two Hearted, Coors Light or whiskey (would love suggestions) Non-adult: Water and coffee

Favorite Shows: Twin Peaks (see avatar), most shows on HBO but Leftovers was a stand out from a couple years ago. Cheers or Last Man Standing if I need a comedy.

Favorite Movies: One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, There Will Be Blood, Adaptation, Heredity, Mulholland Drive

Favorite Books: last book I read was Mutations: The Many Strange Faces of Hardcore Punk ha. Need to branch out more from music based books but also really enjoyed The Devil in the White City.

Favorite Bands/Musicians: All time - Brian Eno, Talking Heads, Big Star, Fugazi, Townes van Zandt. Current: Pharaoh Sanders, Necrot, Avo Part, Philip Glass, Undergang. I surprisingly do not listen to the artist Grimes all that much, but it is where my username came from. I just so happened to have her on while making my account not thinking she would ever get popular or, you know, marry Elon Musk.

In person HF'er count: 2 (rt and maydaymayday)

Brian Eno's score for For All Mankind - the original 1989 movie, not the new streaming series - is one of my all-time favorites.

*that's* where you seem familiar from - I think we have a mutual friend on facebook, yet another RT. I worked with him in the 90s and saw him start his ultimate career (the same co-worker of ours got us into it - I quit after 2 summers). Every time I see people playing that I wonder if he still plays.

I listen to music so rarely, now. Usually audiobooks and podcasts. Half the time I just listen to the local public classical station. When I'm trying to get pumped up I usually listen to Wu-Tang Clan. Most often, I listen to A Tribe Called Quest, Sam Cooke, or Leon Bridges, or kinda mellow stuff like that. Or sometimes I listen to really bad pop music, like The Weeknd, or Kanye. Or really, really bad pop music like Halsey or Ariana Grande or something truly awful like that. Or sometimes really old but really bad hip hop like Young Jeezy or Cam'Ron. I also like older, calmer modal jazz. Like Herbie Hancock's first album or Dave Brubeck or Bill Evans. But I'd say when I'm listening to something in the car or in my airpods, it's music less that 5% of the time.

I was trying to be goofy and give the people’s eyebrow.

I was actually going to suggest that your face is the one right after you look at someone's ridiculous post (like mine), and your brows slightly furl into a, "Who and what the f*** is this person suggesting?" You want to say something out loud, and yet your mouth can't open and say it out loud....

I've been a rock guy going back a very young age listening to artist ranging from the 70's to new stuff but in the last 2 years I've made a hard left and taken to techno/house/whatever you want to call it. I used to make fun of the style until watching a youtube video with a song I really dug. That one song sent me on a journey and it's become my go to genre. I will say I can't enjoy full albums with techo like I can with rock. I've also picked up some more obscure pop during this transition. Some of my favorites are TheFatRat, Fox Stevenson, Getsix, Pegboard Nerds, Panda Eyes, Tokyo Machine and Rob Gasser.

If you're looking for something with a new age, poppy Elvis feel, check out Curio - Ten Feet. I can listen to that song on repeat. Anyone who does, let me know who you'd relate the song to, Elvis was the closest person I could think of but it's not really accurate?

@87turbobuick nice call with Letterkenny. That show is always good for a laugh.
My co-worker from Louisiana, who could care less about hockey and almost all sports, was the one who got me into that show finally (I had heard of it, but never spent the free trial on Hulu)...he comes into my office gushing about it, describing it, how the "hockey guys say things like 'wheelie dingle dangle'"

"You mean 'wheel dangle snipe celly'?"

"YES!! You guys really talk like that!?"

(and as you may have noticed above, my name coincides with one of the semi-main characters - he started exclusively pronouncing it like one of the other characters does)
