@AZviaNJ That’s a ton of Springsteen concerts! I guess the New Jersey handle makes sense haha. I like a bit of his music too. Haven’t checked out the new album yet though. Favourite song?

edit: Schitts is a great show as well! Just finished that a few weeks ago.
Bruce's 2nd best album in the past 20 years. Best 2 songs: If I Was the Priest and Janey Needs a Shooter are both ~50 years old and first time they've been released on album.

Dream truck, Rivian drool. Once you have driven an electric car or truck it's so hard to go back to gas. The handling and accelerations are so much better with electric.

Nice. Is the interior roomy? Big enough to fit car seats in the back?
It is roomy but small. The seats in front are not comfortable but there seems to be plenty of room in back seat. It just drives smooth, is peppy, and does not require gas. If you were comparing it to a similar priced gas car I would say it's definitely inferior. Before rebates my Bolt and My Wife's Audi Q5 cost the same money!!!!

“Ted’s dead baby. TEDs Dead”
1st car: $800 99 Chevy Tahoe that I absolutely loved. Leather seats, spacious. Was a hit in high school. Sold it for $3500 to my mechanic which was cool.

2nd car: 93 Honda Civic. It was modified heavily by the previous owner but only externally. I was still a kid and I thought it looked cool and sounded cool, so I bought it for cheap. Apparently others thought it was cool as well, as it was stolen in front of my house a few months after I bought it. The funniest part is that multiple Honda Civic‘s were reported stolen that night, and the theft left me a beat up red Honda Civic that was still running in my parking spot . Los Angeles for you.

3rd Car: 98 Buick Regal. Quick car, didn’t last long though.

4th: 2007 Chevy Silverado. Just sold it before I moved to Colorado. Really miss that truck, but didn’t need it as we have a few options for vehicles right now.

I think my next vehicle will be something practical. Either a new Tundra, Tacoma, or 4Runner.

Thanks but She won't like You asserting that she was chosen by someone with bad taste!!!! I'll take the compliment on her good taste though!! My list of cars has been rather impressive up until now.

That's a good photo...except for the hat.

The funniest part about this is I was wearing that exact hat in a picture the Coyotes took of me and my wife and used for their TV/Newspaper game promotions last year for like 2 months . Truly surprised they didn’t notice it before they put us on blast

Question, how much are they? The website says you can put in an order and a deposit but there is NO price.

I do not have a fun car list at all. Pretty boring actually other than maybe my first car.

First car: 1968 Ford Galaxie 500
Current vehicle is a Ford Escape Hybrid and an old F150

Other vehicles include a Dodge Omni, Ford Escort station wagon and a Ford Explorer (my versions of the family van), a Honda Civic, and a Honda Cressida

The pricing will be decided once they figure out how to make it. You probably think I'm joking.

They're saying $75k.

Interesting marketing (I think?).

I have clients ask about Tesla Solar Tiles all the time. Tesla advertises them in Canada but you cant get licensed/certified to install them and there is no timeline for when they will be available to install and not sure how much it will cost.

Great thread! Thank you all for contributing to such a great, knowledgeable and friendly forum. I'm more of a reader than a poster here so reading through the threads is always interesting, although occasionally you'll get a swear word or five from me in the GDTs :)

Name: Jakob

Coyotes fan since: ~1997

Got a fun anecdote, when I was a kid I used to play the hell out of NHL 98 with the Coyotes, so I wrote an actual physical letter and sent it to the Coyotes organization, mainly begging for autographs from Tkachuk and Roenick. A couple of months later I received a letter containing two larger trading cards with Tkachuk and Roenick on each of them along with their autographs. Sadly, I dont know where those cards are anymore but it's a fun memory.

Favorite All-Time Coyote: Tkachuk, Doan, Vermette
Favorite Current Coyote: Dvorak, Garland
Favorite Non-Coyote: Sidney Crosby
Other Sports: Football (soccer), I've also been playing floorball for a long time (google it!)
Favorite Cuisine/Restaurant/Dish: Tex-mex and Swedish husmanskost
Favorite Beverage: IPA and APA
Favorite Shows: Twin Peaks, Curb your Enthusiasm, The X-Files, The Office ("UK"), Trailer Park Boys
Favorite Movies: On the top of my head I enjoy watching the Dollars Trilogy, Dazed and Confused, Groundhog Day, Blade Runner, JFK, Heat and so many others
Favorite Books: Terry Pratchett, Antony Beevor and crime/conspiracy-themed books
Favorite Bands/Artists: Neil Young, Led Zep, Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Kyuss etc. Fav album? Right now it's Wishbone Ash - Argus and Little Feat- Waiting for Columbus
What vehicle type do you prefer? All cars Saab
Guilty pleasure: Ben & Jerry's, video games and of course, Swedish fika (pictured below)

That's freaking awesome! Now days that would make for a great little Twitter shout out for the team too.

Serious question...is solar worth the cost in Canada? Seems like the limited sunshine half the year would make the payback timeline very long.

Elon replied to a tweet this week saying that they'll start installing in Canada in 2021. So probably another 8 or 9 months for the first regions and longer for other regions.

But after rebates they're not!
I think you'll be surprised how low the maintenance costs are. No oil changes helps but the biggest thing is how few moving parts there are. I've been driving my Leaf for three years and someone else drove it for two years before that. The only maintenance costs have been for replacing tires.

Edmonton and Calgary average over 300 suns days a year and the sun is up to 16 hours a day in the summer but only 7-8 in the winter.
