Leave if to fiddy to rain on a parade - "yeah he has 10 assists in 10 games but some of those are secondary that anyone could have gotten". Last time I checked, quoting Edzo, they don't ask how, they just ask how many ... well ... that is except for fiddy who actually does ask "how". If we're half way through the season and he still doesn't have a goal then maybe it would be fair to criticize and temper expectations - but right now I'm liking the 10 assists in 10 games to go along with some positive feedback from Bolland and others.

Boqvist was not in the London lineup for last night's game which they won anyway ..Do not know why he was out ..sickflu or injury?

I heard he quit the game of hockey. Putting up with Fiddy's constant criticisms was just too much for the kid.

I cant remember but it was either 50 or American who was really high on Davis and pushed him for years as a future star

The ole' Nathan Davis path???

Davis was forced out of hockey due to concussions.... he was one of the most talked about players in college hockey his junior year, playing for team USA at the World Championships on a loaded team with NHLers Stastny, Parise, Backes, Kessel, Suter, Jack Johnson, etc... he was there...one of the only NCAA players invited.

I don't know what Fiddy thought of him, but I was enamored by his two way play - one of the best pkers in the nation and power play specialists as well..shame his senior year
started the downfall to concussions, only getting hurt his first and last 2 years in the AHL...
but why on Earth you think of Davis for Boqvist is something I cannot fathom right now...

But some other guy has said which I read from London Knight HF-section that Boqvist has flu.

yes he did have shoulder issues I forgot about that, but he stopped playing because of concussions - met him years ago while he was with Colorado he said he had to hang them up because of head injuries...just forgot he dealt with shoulder shit prior.

either way, just an odd name to throw out there from almost 12 years ago in a Boqvist thread.

In Powers article today he said Boqvist showed no signs of concussion and it was more related to the cold he had this week

it will always be a concern for him...bottom line is he is susceptible to concussions now which was why I did not really want to draft him.

the problem with the OHL is this - there are going to be idiots that are trying to make a mark, impress a scout, or whatever and take some runs at this kid. it is a reality in the CHL. now the league isn't like it was in the Youngblood movie days lol...but, I do fear someone is going to take a run at him because they know he has had issues...

I just want to see him play a damn full year, the points will come but the health is what I want to see from him.

I agree. If his comments are perceived to be coming from a guy with an ax to grind rather than dispassionate concern they are more easily dismissed.
