Yeah the Allsvenskan is as competitive as I can remember (the top half as you mentioned). More and more teams are getting promoted to, and staying in the SHL.
Is Raffl really that much faster then the rest of the team that Giroux couldnt produce without him? Its impossible to believe thats the case, but if true...the Flyers need to move some players.

Wha? Are you insinuating that it's just speed that is making the line successful?
...Raffl offers more than you think; even shoot out goals, i do think he is here to stay...
Matt Read-lite or Matt Read? Hmmm. Still waiting to see, but either way, Raffl is looking awesome.
I am gonna get railed on for this, but so far from my view Raffl has shown more in all of his 26 games as a Flyer so far then BSchenn has his entire time here. Yes, it is a small sample for Raffl, who is also older, in comparison with BSchenn, but I am more of pointing out that I am more impressed with Raffl in his lesser games played than BSchenn. Of course, since BSchenn is supposed to be a power forward and has only played 148 games I will cut him more slack in his development.

I am not going to "rail" you. But I am not ready to say #10 is a bust. Give the young man time. The effort is there just let him grow into the power forward he will be for us. It is nice to see all this young talent on this team. Let them grow together. I really like the way this team is shaping up. With the talent coming down the pipeline this team will only become better. What is really nice is that we or not worried about our net anymore. Every night our tenders are giving this team a shot to win. I must admit, Raffl has really impressed me also. Just the way he seems to fit in with the club. This team seems to be really tight and that means a lot when it comes to be a winning hockey club. I thought this team needed a scoring winger along with a top defenseman. Now I think a hammer on the backend is all the team is lacking, but time will tell. For now with the power play clicking this team is a SOB to play against.
Holmgren is pretty damn good with signing undrafted FAs.
I actually agree with you here. Raffl seems like he has a better feel for the game than Brayden. I think their skill level is pretty equal overall. Raffl does the right things more times than not. Brayden still seems kind of... lost, even though he's managing to put up points.
If only he could find a gem on the backend.
Sure.DeKeyser would have been great here.
Raffl is finally making me feel a little better about not signing Gagne.
If only he could find a gem on the backend.
