And Boston loses in a SO.

So we are only 4 points back of them and Washington too (with a game on hand on both).

A win tomorrow over Dallas would make it all very tight (hopefully along with a PIT loss to TB to tie us for the last WC spot).

And Pittsburgh's already up 3-0. Thanks for nothing, Tampa.

We should know by now that early 3 goal leads don't mean a whole lot. (The Pens too)

I would say a 4 goal lead is a bit better.

Bruins get a loser point again; 5 back with a game in hand.

Jets score with a minute left to deliver a big win for us over CBJ; just 3 points back from them for that last spot.

If they decide they need to sell off Bob and/or Panarin at the TDL to not risk losing them for nothing they could be our best bet of a team to catch.

Columbus loses late 4-3 to the Jets.

Jets beat Jackets 4-3 on goals by Al Toon, Wesley Walker, Curtis Martin and shockingly enough Johnny "Lamb" Jones.

Doesn't really matter seeing as we can't pick up points ourselves.

So last year, it took 97 to get in in the East. Figure this year, it will likely take what - 100 maybe?

    22-9
    21-8-2
    20-7-4
    19-6-6
    18-5-8
    17-4-10
    16-3-12

Any of these records or better down the stretch gets us there.

Not impossible. But we've got to flip that switch and turn it on.

We are below real-.500 for the first time since before the win streak.

I'm amazed that we are only 3pts out of a playoff spot with how we've played since the winning streak.

Broken down this way it’s kind of funny how this silly season has gone.

The current wildcard teams in the East are on pace for 98pts (Habs) and 95pts (Jackets) respectively. I agree we need to get going but I don't see why its going to take 100pts.

Too bad we aren't in the West, specifically the Central. We'd be in a WC spot and 2pts out of 3rd place with a game in hand.

Carolina loses, so we're back in 9th.

If this team decides to start putting some wins together a playoff spot is there for the taking

Columbus and Carolina are the two teams to watch I think. The only other team I could see falling off realistically is Montreal but they are now well up.

I think it's Carolina's spot for the taking with how us and Columbus are playing

At the moment we're 1 point out.

CBJ tied 2-2 in their game in hand with Colorado. Outshot 17-7 midway through the 2nd.

Blue Jackets tie it after some exciting transition hockey back and forth.
