F"ck draft position. We got lucky last year - that's enough.

I just want to see something encouraging going into next year.

I haven't watched either the Toronto or Philly games in full yet but before that they were playing well. Even the games they lost. I felt so good after the Caps game... I just want more like that. Just put a run together - get some momentum going into the offseason.

Even if we end up with the 15th & 31st picks I won't be disappointed if there are some real positives to take from the last 15 or so games.

And while they are not mathematically eliminated it's nice to think we're still fighting. Just don't throw in the towel no mateer how unlikely a playoff berth actually is.

They always make a heroic run for 8th overall pick..will they do it in reverse now? Seems like it.

Is it definitely over? I'm no math magician, so what are the odds?

Edit: Ok, just checked -> Buffalo Sabres Playoff Chances - Sports Club Stats

11 W, 1 L, 2 OT gives them a 23% chance
11 W, 2 L, 1 OT makes it 10%

Highly unlikely, but crazier things have happened. Combine that with their upcoming schedule, and i can see it coming :naughty:

Rangers lose in OT, now tied with Sabres in pts

Brendan Lemieux has as many goals as Okposo. :(
