You have got to be f***ing kidding me

My friend was sucker punched by a special needs patient. He can never play hockey again. It broke his neck.

The team has been posting some old game highlight packages on youtube during lockdown, many worth a watch. This one I don't remember, but lord,

- hitting is crazy throughout
- what a game for Joyner!
- it's ultimately a Jeff Kemp game!!!
- two complaints by the excellent broadcast crew (legends) about not having review. Much foresight.
- Ruzek played in 58 games for the Eagles and hit 75% of his FG, a forgotten f***ing legend
- Ruzek also missed 12 XP in his tenure with the team, WTF is wrofg with him?
- I loved when the national broadcast had animated helmets smashing into each other to open the program. Why did they stop this?
- yes I've had some f***ing scotch and even my eyes are burning from the fusels, what the f*** do you want from me? Enjoy the f***ing tape

Yeah when you are not expecting to be hit you can get seriously injured. I represent countless people in worker's comp matters that work in nursing homes or special needs schools who are struck by patients or students. It happens A LOT. Hopefully Goedert is OK and it sounds like he is. Sorry to hear about your friend.

Look at the glorious uniforms for those two teams. I miss the Oilers and the real Eagles green.

Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger admits past addictions to alcohol and porn | Daily Mail Online

Ben Roethlisberger opened up last weekend about his personal issues, admitting to past addictions to alcohol and pornography.

....

'I've fallen as short as anybody,' Roethlisberger said. 'I've been addicted to alcohol, I've been addicted to pornography, which makes me, then, not the best husband, not the best father, not the best Christian I can be.

The NFL is preparing to sell camera-visible signage to local sponsors during the 2020 season to help offset COVID-19 revenue losses.

The first six to eight rows of seating in every stadium, including on-field suites, will be off limits to fans this season to protect players and staff from COVID-19.
Those seats will be covered by tarps to feature ads.

Unlike in MLB or NHL, the value of that on-camera signage in the NFL is high due to its extreme scarcity.

NFL To Tarp Off Lower Rows Of Seats, Allow Teams To Sell Signage To Local Sponsors

So 8 rows between stands and the sidelines to protect the players. Will each fan have 8 rows between them and the next fan?

Howie has a really, really difficult time cutting bait with objectively bad players he’s drafted. Gerry is the dumbest linebacker they’ve had in a very long time. Roseman just seems to have a group of “his guys” who’ll stick around on the roster for far longer than they should.

Sunk-cost fallacy in effect
