I guess I'm not sure what the purpose is of having him on the practice squad if he's not going to be there in person. If he were, I could see the benefit there since it sounds like they value his presence and feedback and want him in the organization in some capacity. But locking him into a practice squad spot can't stop other teams from signing him.

Peters going back to LT is huge for the Eagles. Now instead of two positions on the OL being downgraded since last season, you only have one with RG. Pryor isn't going to be Brooks but he should at least be decent there, he isn't a LT and that would have been bad.
