That Deslauriers trade to Minnesota pretty much confirms to me that the Penguins could get a 3rd rounder for ZAR if they traded him right now.

Lindholm is a big deal get for Boston but I can't help but think they'd be scarier for going big at C. Although maybe they will as well.

That trade is likely coming with a Lindholm extension, so that's really not too bad.

That also tells me that trading Dumoulin next off-season likely brings back a 1st and a young roster player at minimum.

Recent deals pretty much confirm what we already knew. It's going to take massive overpayments to even get half decent players.

I'd do that at the draft and use those pieces for someone like Chychrun.

Ice breaker for Kappy. Yay! This line was great also at St. Louis and has looked the same here. Have we stumbled into something? Z deserved an assist also on that one for great forechecking and body-work.
