Next year almost all of their dmen are UFA too. Will be interesting to see what they do.

Cap will most certainly rise barring anything crazy. They can move all 3 of kapenen, Johnson, and kerfoot for 10m in space and gain 11+ more next year from all dman being ufas for like 20m+ in space if really needed. UFAs will bargain deal with them to be on the next dynasty ala detroit affect.

It's just that easy, eh? If anything, I see them trading Kapanen and Kerfoot for NHL ready defensive prospects. I don't see any good UFA dman taking a bargain. Well, unless they are old and cup chasing

I just don't think Faulk is very good. I feel Like Edmundson fit their team better.

Faulk on the 3rd pair seems a little odd. And to sign him to that long extension as well.
