Philly young kid, right? Fletcher's probably throwing a Hail Mary before determining whether or not to trade for a goalie.Hart will start for tonight.
No pressure kid, no pressure.
Knowing our luck we would finish last and pick 4th.as much as it would suck, id like to tank 1 season to get a superstar. just wont be buffalo and cheer about it when the other team scores on us.

10th overall. Just sayin'.
Watch Ottawa wins the lottery and Colorado gets Kaapo.
Right now (lots of games still left) Chicago and St. Louis are both bottom 5 teams in the league. Ottawa is 9th worst, but only 2 points ahead of 6th worst.
Can you imagine if Colorado, Chicago and St. Louis all get a top 5 pick this year? I mean, it's perfectly feasible.
EDIT: Didn't even think about Arizona, who is also 4th worst in the league at this time. That's potentially 4/5 central division teams in the top 5 of the draft, or at worst, top 10.
There's an article in the Athletic too talking about it. The CEO actually requested the interview to publicly vent about it. That's pretty crazy. I'm not really sure what to think about it yet.

Biggest blowup and overreaction ever? They beat the awesome preds 2 - 0, but are struggling in the standings a BIT and even star players have bad stretches so wtf?
The funny thing is they're still ahead of us in the standings. It's a non-hockey guy overreacting cause he's upset about having to pay two guys that much money. You get where he's coming from somewhat, but as the kids say, this ain't it chief. They have no depth, no goaltending, and team D is reliant on a rookie and a guy whose never been known to bring great D. It's more the GM's fault for not building a better roster.
I have to wonder if this isn't a misguided attempt to get them to waive their clauses and get out from under the contracts. They're both owed a mountain in signing bonuses over the next few years, so maybe the guys in charge of the purse strings are already feeling buyer's remorse. The funny thing is they're still ahead of us in the standings.
His comments certainly won't be a draw for potential free agents.
