Columbus and Dallas will be the cities. The others are all blue states and those governors are never agreeing

Hearing that the plan sounds complicated and dumb so far. What's going on with what Bettman is saying?

So who are those “other teams” in the lotto? I’m assuming they are the teams who finished 9-12

a lot of West locations. If an East location has to host East playoffs it's only TOR, CBJ, or PIT. so unless it's PIT the TOR/CBJ series will host their series. Obviously without fans that's less meaningful but playing in your host arena and dressing room might have benefits of familirity.

I'm at work and can't watch, have the made any indication for the play times? I know it's a pretty specific question, but in my dreams every day of the week has a eastern matinee, western matinee, eastern prime time, western prime time for 12 uninterrupted hours of hockey daily.

This draft lottery is confusing me. I get phase 1 but phase 2 doesn't make sense.

Say they do phase 1 and 2nd overall pick is won by an unknown 8-15 team. Phase 2 is another lottery to determine which losing team gets that pick. They have to do that after because they don't know who those teams will be at the time of lottery 1. All odds in the 2nd draw are equal.

Can't wait to see the quality of play for the preseason, I mean... the playoffs. Going to need to a terrorism penalty for those who seemingly cough intentionally.

Phase 1 will be done without teams 8-15 determined. Let's say team B (9th overall) wins the #2 spot. Phase 2 would involve all 8 losing teams with a 12.5% chance to get that pick.

No they don't.

If unknown teams, for example, win slots 1, 2 and 3, the bottom 7 teams would not be in the Phase 2 lottery.

Their picks are locked in after Phase 1.

The order would be:

1. Unknown A
2. Unknown B
3. Unknown C
4. Detroit
5. Ottawa
6. Ottawa
