That's extremely doubt full , okay pretty much impossible to argue that point now, at this point as Sid and Alex have the same number of regular season points and Alex has played in 140 more games.

Same number of points except one guy got there in 1.75 less seasons. The only move for Ovechkin fans is to try to overhaul the point scoring system and devalue playmaking. Have they tried that yet?

117 points in 121 games

Well both go Crosby’s way lol. It’s just funny right now that they both have 1188 points. But cooler that one guy has it in 141 less games
Again you can’t say Crosby has been better this season just because he just had a big game. Stick to one argument, stop bouncing around to gain momentum. It’s sad

No, he played for Adam Oates and Dale Hunter.
He's one of the most complete players in the league now.

This reminds me of the post you had that Crosby wasn't even a top 600 player defensively.

But go ahead just keep making stuff up, can't wait to see Ovechkin on the Selke voting this year.

On the other hand Crosby will have his 3rd year in a row top 10.

On a related topic how much do you want to bet that Crosby ends up at least 5 spots higher than Ovechkin in Hart voting?

No shame in Sid being second best on his own team.

How so?

Maybe stop and think before posting there is zero argument that Malkin has been better this season for the Pens or over their careers as Penguins, plain and simple.

Like last season when you Crosby fanboys were pumping this same "complete player" bs?

I guess when one doesn't have a great argument then the fanboy comment has to get thrown out eh?

That being said Crosby didn't have one of his better full seasons last year and was still ahead of Ovechkin in points.

It's pretty much a toss up at best even if you are inclined towards goal scoring as Crosby still is an elite 2 way center

No, as evidenced by OV's 16-11 gap in individual awards and OV having the best peak of this era. But if you prefer the fantasy of PPG, that's your opinion.
What fantasy? He is literally tied with him in points with 141 less games. And Ovechkin is like Nadal who only wins 1 grand slam a year. The French.
Nobody from gms analysts coaches owners etc will ever take him over Crosby. It’s an insane notion

He finished 2 points ahead of Ovechkin while Ovechkin had nearly 20 more goals(leading the league). Are you honestly going to use a 2 point margin to benefit Crosby?

Ovechkin was better last year, I don’t see how it’s debatable. Even the playoffs, Ovechkin walked away with a cup and Smythe, while leading the league in goals in the regular and post season....what did Crosby do?

Funny thing is, if the roles were reversed, I guarantee many in this very thread would say Crosby was better “AINEC.”

Ok, go ahead and prove that please. Don’t say such a general statement based on your weird infatuation with Crosby.

Nadal is a career golden slam champion, something Federer and Djokovic are not. A+ for effort, but as usual you have no idea what you are talking about.

I hope this is sarcasm.
It's not. Crosby and Malkin together generated 1,876 goals for their team. Ovi generated 63.3% of their totals combined.
