Crosby has been better in the playoffs than Malkin and Ovechkin. However I would say OV has clearly been the best between the 3 in the regular season.
Crosby has been better in the regular season. 8 top 3 scoring finishes vs 5. Rockets don’t rise ov above Crosby because some of those seasons Crosby still dominated him.

That’s cool. Ovechkin has been winning rockets with 79 and 71 point seasons. Cute
13-14 and 15-16? You mean two of his historical goal-scoring seasons based on domination of peers? Yeah, they are arguably top-50ish all-time goal-scoring seasons. Ovechkin was also PPG through two rounds in the second of those two seasons.

13-14 was one of his worst seasons of his career

And failing to score 80 points and be top 10 in scoring in a full season at age 28. Same age where Crosby was third in scoring and 2nd in hart voting
79 in 78.
And you can't compare age as players develop at different rates. Laine is only 20 and he isn't what he was at 18.

So points are all that matter? Then it must kill you inside that Sid hasn't hit 90 in 4 seasons while McDavid is doing 90 in his sleep.
Not really. Crosby is 31 Mcdavid is 22. When Crosby was 22 he scored 109 so. Crosby has never had a full season anywhere close to as bad as Ovechkins 11-12 15-16 16-17

It's not because he evolved into an incredibly one dimensional player, it's because he chose to decline assists. You have to respect that.
No, he played for Adam Oates and Dale Hunter.
He's one of the most complete players in the league now.

Edit make it 20? You mean like 16-17? Or how about 25? Like 13-14. Oh how about 28 like 06-07? Or 14 like 15-16?...
Sure Crosby is the better point producer. But better point producer ≠ better player.

Edit: Make a new thread when Sid gets an EN assist tonight.

Malkin better than Crosby? Bahaha even better
Malkin was better last year than Crosby. Maybe this is more of a “what have you done for me lately.” Which alone is ironic given the massive grace period that Crosby is constantly given.
6 point gap now
Because that can’t easilt change within a week? Ovechkin was better than Crosby last year and is doing just as great.

Crosby has never had a full season close to as good as Ovechkin's 07/08, 08/09, 09/10 either so don't worry it balances out.

That's extremely doubt full , okay pretty much impossible to argue that point now, at this point as Sid and Alex have the same number of regular season points and Alex has played in 140 more games.
