IDK man, Judge had better WAR on worse team that had them overacheive into the playoffs that season. In terms of narratives and performance, I feel it should've been a no-brainer. But I guess they gave it to Altuve more b/c he 'paid his dues' a la Trout being robbed for MVP 2x aka "he'll win plenty in his career, let's give it to this guy instead".

I’d do it for free tbh.

But on topic, I wouldn’t include andujar for Kluber either but hugging florial, as talented as he is, would be insane.

Hicks is not going to be here long term. Frazier in LF. Florial in CF in 2-3 years. Lengthen the window while having cheaper salaries on the books.

Okay and they dont have to sacrifice Florial to achieve that. They dont. They were one game away from the WS just two years ago with a very young and raw team. They lost this past year to a 108 team that was on a war path. They are not far off.
