Muzzin's on the ice- bam, bam, bam, puck in the net!

Leafs Nation's fear of success showed when they rejoiced at the news that a European skill man Carl Grundstrom went the other way

Tape to tape pass to other team, Do we like it? Niet, niet, niet!

Off to hit a player, go at him, but look! The other player is European, passed the puck off the boards, skates like the wind, and bam, bam, bam, 2 on one against the Leafs and Muzzin has no say

as Muzzin off on headhunting prowl leads to missed assignment, and bam, bam, bam, puck is in the net!

You got a really weird gimmick man.

Muzzin has been pretty good for us to be honest. He's got good shot metrics across the board, is on a 50 point pace as a Leaf, and provides the heaviness and physicality that people craved.

This board is hopeless
It's changed a lot over the last year or two, to be honest. Used to be the minority that liked Gardiner, now it seems to be the majority.

just seems like a theam with him. I like him but he seems to be making the same bonehead play each Resulting in goals for the other team

I've never missed Gardiner or Dermott more than watching Muzzin skate 3 on 3 last night.

He’s been brutal

Grundstrom is killing it too

Horrible trade
I totally agree. I didn't like the trade from the beginning. It will be a trade that Dubas will regret he got fleeced. Muzzin at best has one more good year in him. His lack of speed will catch upto him if it hasnt already. Dumb trade.

He's played like a stud all-situations physical #1 for us and leaf fans think he's bad. Can't make this up.

Leafs fans default response to anything is misery, regardless of what the actual reality of things are.

He’s been great

Does anyone feel like Muzzin would be more effective if he had a solid skater with him? I just don't feel like Zaitsev carries the skill that would help Muzzin out. I'm hoping we get to see Muzz-Lily at training camp next season, would be an interesting pair.

Zaitsev destroys everyone he’s paired with cuz he can’t exit the zone

Muzzin is mostly solid but has been a turnover machine. I think it's because he's slow and used to his forwards running interference so he's not pressured. So far he has not adapted well to the pressure. Larry Murphy Part II.

Oh give it a f***ing rest. Duby got the best D on the market and didn't give up a single roster piece. Everyone knows it was a good deal. I don't see Grundstrom on a 50 point pace ffs

When everyone is healthy, he should play with Rielly imo

The idea is good...unfortunately that would leave Gardiner or Zaitsev with a place on the 2nd pairing with Dermott... I'd rather see Dermott play with Rielley (let's see if he can actually be a #2) Muzzin with Zaitsev (he seems to have helped Z with his game like it or not) then Gardiner with Hainsey on the 3rd pairing for sheltered minutes
