Head on a swivel
Pastujov had another good one last night with 2 goals. He now has 7. If he keeps up his pace he could possibly forego his sr year and sign with us if the offer is there.

Liked him a lot (as a 7th round pick, not saying I thought he'd be a star lol). Think he's definitely earned a contract.Nick Pastujov with a goal and an assist in a win over Penn State.
9 pts in 10 games. He is making a strong case for an NHL deal.
I don't think the problem is opportunity. BC is just shit this year, and Wall-E has been pretty unlucky. His S% is way too low for what it probably should be. The scoring will come IMO, just give it time.Is it really lack of opportunity? Walhstrom leads BC in shots. It is not unfamiliar for NCAA players from the USDNTP to struggle out of the gate, a completely different league. Let's have some patience here.
That was a nice-Ish goal.Good to see Ish isnt having any ill effects from the head trauma.

I’ve read he is similar to cockerill at BU in that they both can really skate. That would bode well for some bottom six forwards who can skate well.I have never seen him play before so when do we have to start really considering Pastujov a legit prospect?

Anyone here remember Jason Gregoire? With this being Nick's third year in college, is it not fair to assume he would have more production? Meaning, are we jumping the gun a little on Pastujov deserving a contract?
I mean, I haven't watched the kid so I cant truly attest to Nick's ability, but
I'll see your Jason Gregoire and raise you a Wes O'Neill.Anyone here remember Jason Gregoire?

All guys that people piled on snow for not signing, Robbie Russo was another. I don’t think snow did good job but sometimes particularly with these types of prospects he made the right decision not to sign. Perhaps it was his greatest strengthI'll see your Jason Gregoire and raise you a Wes O'Neill.

I agree. Snow was best when he did nothing. That's why I'm really liking the job he's doing now.All guys that people piled on snow for not signing, Robbie Russo was another. Ullstrom had so much potential. He was actually performing well in the NHL, and playing in the playoffs. But Cappy put him in the doghouse, and he was done.My heart stills breaks over the squandered possibilities of Persson, Sundstrom and Ullstrom

It’s crazy how badly they missed on so many European’s for so many years.
Crus-Rydberg also amounted to nothing.
How do you not even hit on one Swede. They’re everywhere in the NHL.
I like Aho quite a bit I think his NHL upside is as high as Toews IMO, he is so smart and smooth just your typical euro puck moving defenseman. At least we had Stefan Persson.
