Funny how many people are offended by members just asking that the rules of this forum are being followed as they've become lax...

That being said, there is a report function that seems to have been underutilized a lot over the past few weeks by those with a direct issue with this

How about an alternate version of your "truth"... this time coming from the source of the opinion (still me btw): that after posting here with many of you since 2006, I actually value the hockey-talk contributions of Mowzie and Fourier that (without even checking) I know date back just about that long too.

PS: I also have been around long enough to remember your self persecution days for what's worth... glad you've grown past that.

I don't know if I give you the benefit of the the doubt because I'm more familiar with you as a user here, but I don't recall you posting anything that made me uncomfortable to look at in public or infront of my kids. I'm not active enough to know if Melissa posts were the gateway to the more vulgar stuff, but if they were, then I will allow you to fall on the sword.

I think it's the bounce GIFs that some are taking offense to, not the Melissa pics.

Posting gifs is fun, it usually adds humour which I think everybody appreciates for the most part. I think the Supergirl threads were amusing because of the humour but when the threads warp into a "No this chick is hotter" thread and the gratuitous posts show up it becomes tedious to scroll through. As others have mentioned it's a little uncomfortable to be on HF trying to look up hockey content and somebody walks by and asks, "What are you looking at?" as you're scrolling past babe gifs.

I think it's been mentioned about a dozen times that this isn't about Melissa. It's the graphic bouncy chest gifs that a lot of people are uncomfortable with.

I don't mind your Melissa gifs, they're pretty funny, and I think mot of HFOIL share that opinion. And I haven't seen you post anything overly sexual in my time here. What @Mowzie and the rest of the advocates in this thread want is to stop the objectification and sexualization of women, which causes people to be uncomfortable, for whatever reason they have. You respect women in your posts from what I've seen, so keep posting what your posting. If people find it lame or boring, that's on them lol.

I can't speak for all of HFOil but I don't think it bothers anyone. It's the (much) more sexual stuff that does.

I watch the game on streaming sites so I am pretty desensitized to smut and toxicity by the time I get to the PGT. I can understand how it would annoy other people though, especially those who browse the site at work.

The streams I use are ad-free and devoid of toxicity. PM me if you want the site.

I can't speak for everybody but I highly doubt that Melissa is the issue for most.
Plus, you and Melissa are a package deal so if we lose Melissa we lose you and we kind of like you around here. Don't let it get to your head.
