I think the impact this guy brings to his team is only behind McDavid.

Currently this season his point per game rate is equal to Drai and behind McDavid so even production wise he qualifies as second best.

But I think what’s more important is his impact on different game situation.

He did lead the league in ES points, his OT record is ridiculous - Columbus went from the best to the worst OT team when Panarin left and he’s also one of the best shootout specialists in the league

That's another thing folks get wrong about Artemi, they think he's some sort of liability on D, which is actually the complete opposite. He's as complete a player as you'll find.

Panarin, Kucherov, Draisaitl, Kane, MacKinnon is pretty much the same tier.

Elite vision, habds, creativity, skill, understanding of the game, goalscoring, playmaking, defense. Kane and Draisaitl may not be great at defense.

Its a toss up.

Pit its avout winning, and Kane and Kucherov had shown the way ehen it matters.

So I would like to put Kucherov and Kane in tier after McDavid. Tier III as Panarin, MacKinnon, Draisaitl. And Ceosby is still a great player.

Tier IV for me is Matthews, Marchand, Barkov and those.
