As a division winner, the best the Canucks can draft is 24th.
That is such a stupid rule.

There is a lot to criticize but not Kassian.
Your posts are so always so wildly inaccurate and so often hurtful that it destroys any credibility that you might be seeking. I don't know if you are reverse trolling (being a fan of another team but pretending to be a Canuck fan to avoid mod intervention) but I think that has to be a strong suspicion here.
False. As a division winner and being 5th in points amongst those winners, the highest we can draft is 22 and the lowest is 26.As a division winner, the best the Canucks can draft is 24th.
Not that we deserved to win this series but the officiating here was ridiculous even by modern NHL game management standards. The raw stats scream WTF.
PP minus PK time:
SJS 20:40
STL 8:11
MIN 8:05
OTT 6:22
NYR 5:54
NYI 4:25
ANA 4:11
TOR 3:25
BOS -3:25
DET -4:11
PIT -4:25
WSH -5:54
MTL -6:22
CHI -8:05
LAK -8:11
VAN -20:40
Why not just put in writing that come playoffs Nucks must spend close to 10% of game time in the box over and above the opposition and be done with it?

haha wow, we were outchanced 28 - 7 in game 4, outchanced both in even strength and pp time and Henrik still thinks we played well...
This team needs to rebuild, their time is over.
lol at trading the 21 year old power forward making $800k
You thought that that performance against Chicago meant that all the inconsistency shown during the regular season was not important that that the Canucks could possibly go deep into the play offs. Unfortunately the Canucks peaked too soon and it was not to be.
Kassian took too many penalties which I believe cost us regular season games to the extent that changes the seedings in the playoffs it matters.
Canucks have had all year to correct what was wrong with their game and nothing's changed all season to consistently show they had righted what was wrong. It is true that they were affected by injury and Tanev in particular is a big loss for the playoffs.

Wtf?!
Manny's loss is definitively underrated. He got so much **** in this board, but without him the PK went to the toilet and so did our faceoff ability. He was a far more important cog than what most cared for.
Among our players - I try so hard to not do it, but I have to single out Bieksa. He seemed to be on the ice for every Sharks chance - untimely pinches, turnovers under slight pressure, getting beaten wide, taking himself out of the play and bad penalties. If GMMG has to ship out someone from our core, it's gotta be him.
