Funny you mention that because when they aren't winning you don't hear from them.
I still lurk regardless, flyers are my 2nd fav team

I can't remember, but who were Giroux's linemates two years ago when he had that 76 point season? Was it Carter?
Yeah, Carter and somebody else who I have forgotten.
looks like they played with a combo of JVR/Powe/Zherdev/Nodl

Can't believe Powe and Nodl played so much with Giroux although I understand the checking role....
G needs a Leino type (at least when he was with the Flyers and complementing Briere)
I remember Powe and Nodl moving up and down the lineup all year.
Now that I look at that list I recall we expected JVR to make the line with Carter and Giroux beastly as hell...but that didn't pan out.
Should of gave it to kimmo. Remember when guys wore the C who weren't the best player on the team? It obviously puts pressure on you to perform on the scoresheet
The eternal chorus
It just doesn't make sense. It's not like we're seeing him do the same things but get frustrated, he's an entirely different player. Pucks are bouncing off him where they'd usually stick. Passes are getting blocked where they'd usually land perfectly. He's shooting even less than he did before. Where's our Giroux gone?!

I wonder if Giroux's wrist surgery has to do with his slump... he lacks the "soft hands" right now.
