Yeah, live I was kinda mad at the stoppage but the moment they showed his face I was like '' Jesus, thank god Miragliotta stepped in '' ! One of the most gruesome injuries I've seen in the sport in 20+ years of watching it, for sure. Only seconds before the end though and Overeem was winning on all 3 cards, this really sucks for the guy...

Joshua vs Ruiz 2 was ok, joshua looked much better, but still dont think he has much chance vs Wilder or Fury

Also only watched the heavyweight tilt for the UFC figuring at least one of them would get a KO... sure enough it becomes one hell of a BORING fight... Overeem about to win it and then gets his upper lip RIPPED OFF in one of the hardest punches ive ever seen with FOUR SECONDS left in the fight wow

I understand why some people feel like maybe he should of been saved by the bell but when the ref stops it he STOPS it, it only looked a little bad because Jairinho started celebrating RIGHT after the punch instead of going for the finish
but it was clear he knew he was trailing and really impressed the last 2 rounds, case in point with the BRUTAL punch to end it, man that was gruesome

Overeem just can't take a punch anymore so the defensive/clinch heavy approach is his only option, unless he's in there against a total non striker. The thing is, barring that freak injury he was cruising to an easy win, which says a lot I guess.

I had it 38-38 going into the 5th, this was as closely contested as it gets. This really legitimates Usman as the top guy in his division now, nobody can say his opponent just beat himself this time like some people said with the Woodley fight.

Jean-Pascal won in a split decision. Did not see the fight but listened to it on the radio. Everyone seemed a little surprised.

I guess JP must have won the 6 or 7 round which were closer because he was clear winner in 1-5 and Badou seemed to be the clear winner in 8-12.

round 4 was 10-8 for JP but I wonder if the judges thought JP slipped in the 12 making it 10-9 instead of 10-8 for Badou jack.

Wish I could have seen it, it seemed like a good fight.

I had Jack winning by 2 but it's not a total robbery. And yes, it was a pretty entertaining fight. Worth a watch if you come across it.

didn't watch it, but not surprised Badou Jack lost this one. Judges hate his style. Guy is the boxing equivalent to Jorge Masdival as far as never winning close decisions.
