Still don't really want it to happen.
Colorado signing Hall would severely hamper their chances of being a really good team for a really long time. Would basically give them 1 season before the cap became a problem.

It wouldn't be a problem. It just wouldn't be the complete non-factor that it is for them now anymore.

If Colorado were to sign Hall, and then re-sign the guys that they need to? That would push them fairly close to the cap. The Following year they would need to re-sign, Landeskog, Makar, and Grubauer with very little money coming off their cap.

The unknown is what Hall would be signing for. If it has to be ~$10, then sure. If it's down to a $7-$8 range, there's probably just some minor massaging that'll be needed, mostly likely involving Kadri, Johnson and Graves. They'll have Newhook and Byram coming in on ELC's in short order to offset.

I'm not quite sure if Colorado is a 'below cap' team though, so that could make all of this moot if they have to stay around $70 million or something.
