The Sticks (West MA)
Is he a center in the NHL though (I ask I've never seen him play).

His face-off totals seem more like a winger who is Option A if the C gets tossed from the face-off circle than a guy playing a whole lot of C at the NHL level.

Face-offs per game

16/17 = 3.47
17/18 = 2.04
18/19 = 0.29

Every site I saw had him listed as a C, but most sites have Heinen listed as a C too, so take it FWIW. It appears that he's another guy that can play w/c, but I assume the B's will have him at center.

At least has speed. Sounds like a player from the TB or Leafs team... can he play tonight?

Talent Analysis HF future
Smith was one of the fastest players taken in the 2012 draft. He is an energy player that makes the Energizer Bunny look like a tortoise and is an annoying player, constantly in the opposition’s face. Despite lacking size he is physical and tenacious. His feet never stop moving and he wins a lot of battles by that virtue. Smith is a strong forechecker that can fly back to cover defensively. Most of his scoring comes from turnovers he forces. He doesn’t possess elite offensive skills but has some good passing ability. Smith won’t score any goals from far-out because of a lacking shot. He will need more bulk and strength at the pro level but not at the cost of his speed. He is probably better suited as a wing at the next level.

any idea what # he will wear? just curious lol

If you look at the B's website they have him listed at #46 lol. Obviously that'll change, probably just waiting for him to join the team and pick a number.
