And how quiet they get when he’s playing well.I find it so strange how everyone has turned on him and seemingly love it when he's playing poorly.

That's funny because this sentiment was never given to Doughty over the past few years. No one ever said "I'm sure he'd look a lot better if the Kings were actually a good team."
And that isn’t what you want in a short season. He's obviously not the player he once was, but he's a notoriously slow starter.
It's an annual tradition for this thread to pop up and people claiming he's finished, and then they get to watch him go on to put up big numbers the rest of the year.
he hasn't blown out a nut yet so there's thatI Remember when people were saying Karlsson is going to be Lidstrom's equal or superior by citing how he accomplished more his first 7 yrs...

What is this even supposed to mean. He's playing well?...checks salary....right
I think it’s pretty obvious what it means. He’s not playing anywhere close to his salary. What is this even supposed to mean.
Tell us something we don’t already knowI think it’s pretty obvious what it means. He’s not playing anywhere close to his salary.

2 g 3 a + 7 in his last 7. Guess when he isn’t playing injured (and bad) you guys have to just move the goal posts and start attacking from other angles.
In a thread that was started over 1 play, 7 games is much more significant of a sample size.Whoa no way, a 50-some point pace for 7 whole games? Karlsson is BACK.

OH NO. HE DRESSED AS A PIRATE TO A FUN, FAN EVENT.When Karlsson went to the All-Star game one year he decided to dress as a pirate so that he could stand out.
The fact he was at the All-Star game wasn't enough attention for him he had to do something else to stand out from the other players going to the game.
When someone has an ego this large people enjoy it when they fail.

He should be blasted into space for such audacity.
I bet you’re real fun at parties.
You think that's funny? I've got a better one: one guy masqueraded as a Dman in the the world's premier hockey league for several seasons! In truth he was a rover, perhaps even a forward. Hilarious! And the fan fun part? A lot of his die hard fans didn't even see through the disguise...talk about fan fun
You honestly talk like someone who doesn’t actually watch hockey but merely regurgitates what you read here or on social media. You think that's funny? I'm curious to hear how you know his motives for the costume. When Karlsson went to the All-Star game one year he decided to dress as a pirate so that he could stand out.

His motive was there was a pirate festival running at the same time so he and Hedman dressed up. It's the All Star game, not the Stanley Cup final. It's a fan event meant to be fun and light hearted.I'm curious to hear how you know his motives for the costume.

So you just don’t watch the games and form opinions solely from here. Gotcha.Nice try dude. However, I quit FB in 2008. Among the first to participate and definitely among the first to leave.
