It's evident that Kowalsky needs to be back in his element in the AHL. The ECHL might be his true forte.

Butcher turned hard without falling. Nice little move for him. He is smart and it will be interesting to watch if he can play legit LD2 next season with a healthy team.

I'm sure he has a specific role, but Kowalsky is the PP guy (and probably the 3 on 3 guy) and Nasreddine is the PK guy and works with the defensemen. Not sure if it's Kowalsky or Grier who they assign the offense to.

I actually thought he was from Minnesota, because I know he's friends with Parise and has been for quite a while. They may have met going to/playing for North Dakota together or some Team USA junior program before that. I thought he was Parise's best man at his wedding, or maybe it was vice versa?
