It looks like we have a pretty decent crowd tonight for a weeknight garbage time game that isn't against the Rangers or Flyers.

I honestly think fans like the 7:30 PM starts, so they have enough time after they leave work. I always did when they were 7:30 at the Meadowlands and had trouble adjusting to the the 7:00 PM starts after the move to Newark, when I was attending the games.

I think 7:30pm starts are horrible and I hope we never go back to them full time. Most of the season ticket holders around me prefer 7pm too.

Maybe it's just me, but didn't one of those goals (it was either goal 3 or goal 4) look like a borderline offsides? Like you could challenge it? Maybe I'm wrong, but if I'm not, the staff may be indifferent on giving effort to use a challenge.

We must be near the bottom of the league in uses the challenges this year.

The PBP guy probably hitched a ride on the Caps team plane.

Doc is usually reserved for Wednesday night games, or the Sunday afternoon games NBC does sometimes, as well as the stadium games or the occasional Saturday night game on NBC.

But he was doing Flyers/Pens the other night on NBCSN on a Sunday.

I think he's almost always only done the Wednesday games, along with the Sunday matinee and whatever big regular season (stadium game) game there was. He tends to more in the playoffs though.

But I think you're right, he has missed some Wednesday games this year too, especially when they're between teams that really aren't spectacular. I think he missed one of the Rangers games on a Wednesday this year. That's one that comes to mind and there's definitely been others.
