Feeeeeeeeeels good man.
Busy night but I checked in now and again - as others have said, it's a different, more nature team this year, not letting a slow or poor effort in the first period become an automatic loss.

Marner our 2nd best goal scorer this year.
Suck on that, Leafs fans!
And no PP goals. All 5 on 5.

It's the only way to deal with it. I saw some checks today that were lead with players sticks in a cross checking fashion. That's some dirty stuff that is basically a cross check without the arm extension.

No way the refs, the league or the opponent of any team doing that can allow it to continue.

The sequence where Petry ended up cross checking Kerfoot in the face was frustrating. Before he did that he also swatted at the puck with this stick over his head like he was trying to hit a pinata. A guy like that is running around doing whatever he wants.

Crazy to think we led the division for 106 of 116 days in the regular season, and only trailed for 2 days since January 23rd (Montreal on Feb 2nd and 3rd) and half of us here were still having heart attacks on a routine basis. Absolute dominance of the division.

Now continue it for another 16 games please.

We’re the second best 5v5 team in the league behind Colorado. I feel better about this team going into the playoffs than I do the special teams dependent teams we’ve had in the past (though please do fix the PP)
