100% agree. Do I think they're a playoff team with a different coach? Probably not but they sure as hell wouldn't be a bottom 3 team in the league. There is too much skill for this to be this bad. Especially on special teams.
That's a bit too simple. It still could be both. Bad roster and bad coaching.

I should not have used very little. He has been ok his first two years my point his he isn’t going to live up to his draft status. He isn’t gonna be a game changer. He will be a nice solid player but will not live up to his draft status.

Sadly this is true.Well unfortunately we’ll never know about the playoffs because now it’s too late even if a replacement comes in and somehow gets things turned around. They’ve already pissed away too much of the season.

...which is another good reason to not fire him until the offseason
Gotta disagree with that. At the very least, you get a better look at the players if a temp is brought in. Another 57 games of this trash also doesn’t sound appealing. Shero’s gotta have some kind of response here. That said, I think he’s here till the bitter end.
Nico’s scoring at a 0.65PPG rate through his first 3 years in the league.
MacKinnon rocked 0.70PPG.
Larkin was at 0.57PPG.
Barkov, 0.62PPG.
It is supremely shortsighted to speak in absolutes about a 20-year-old center’s potential, especially when he plays for a mouth-breathing pud that doesn’t have a clue.
I wonder if Stevens still wants to get back into coaching. I was disappointed that he was let go when Ray brought in Hynes. I believe he can coach, but obviously has zero experience as a HC, but at this point I'm sure he'd be better than Hynes. Boucher would be an upgrade too.

Why did I bother to watch this game?
