They may just be shutting him down for precautionary reasons.
Fact remains if he wasn't still showing symptoms there wouldn't necessarily be "precautionary reasons."

I'm not sure you understand the word precautionary. It doesn't necessarily mean he still has symptoms. Precautionary is basically just giving things extra patience and examination before testing them. Atleast thats the best I can describe it.Fact remains if he wasn't still showing symptoms there wouldn't necessarily be "precautionary reasons."
I thought that was from Timmins himself but I could be wrong.Wasn't there a report like just a few days ago saying that the Avs were expecting Timmins to get into an Eagles game no later than the middle of March.
Sometimes the lingering effects of a concussion can last years. Pronger needed a cane for a while. Lots of players can't be around light for a long time. Some can't keep their balance.I thought that was from Timmins himself but I could be wrong.
They linger and they can have good periods and than bad periods. Thats why its best to play it safe imo. Even when the symptoms leave it doesn't necessarily mean the damage is healed.Sometimes the lingering effects of a concussion can last years. Pronger needed a cane for a while. It's nasty, and I don't know why anyone expects, or says that there is some magical deadline.
Unless he's been symptom free for a while, it could be a long time before he's back in game shape.
I'd like your post, but my like button has dissapeared on me. I guess I upset our overlords or something. They linger and they can have good periods and than bad periods. Thats why its best to play it safe imo. Even when the symptoms leave it doesn't necessarily mean the damage is healed.
Well than this conversations all been for nothing.I'd like your post, but my like button has dissapeared on me. I guess I upset our overlords or something.
He's on a 3 year contract. We can be patient. He could be a hell of a player.Just move on from him. We been through this already with Hishon.

Could be or he could be done and end up in Denmark with Andrighetto in a few yearsHe's on a 3 year contract. We can be patient. He could be a hell of a player.
You said we should move on from him. Should we just tell him to go home, collect paycheques, and give up on hockey? LolCould be or he could be done and end up in Denmark with Andrighetto in a few years
He might be forced to do that anyways. Im not holding out hope. I gave that up with Joey. You said we should move on from him. Should we just tell him to go home, collect paycheques, and give up on hockey? Lol
Joey Hishon has nothing to do with Timmins though. He might be forced to do that anyways. Im not holding out hope. I gave that up with Joey.
Sure they do. Both young talents with mash potato for brains before they entered the league. I wish Connor the best but im not holding my breath.Joey Hishon has nothing to do with Timmins though.
Your not wrong but there's no reason to give up. Let it heal long term and see a specialist and train to protect your head. By that I mean exercise neck muscles and stabilizing muscles ect so that you can better brace for impact. I'm certainly not relying on him but there's no reason to not hope for the best. Just don't have any expectations.Sure they do. Both young talents with mash potato for brains before they entered the league. I wish Connor the best but im not holding my breath.
The BSN guys said thatWasn't there a report like just a few days ago saying that the Avs were expecting Timmins to get into an Eagles game no later than the middle of March.
