Call me crazy, but i think it will be a good sign if Coyle does make a few more turnovers.
In MN, he was so busy being a good, two way soldier that I believe it stifled his skill game, and left him as a player with tantalizing, but undeveloped offensive potential. If he is allowed to carry the puck more(which happens at C, anyway) and experiment offensively, then the immediate result might be more mistakes, but the possible long term result could be him turning into a legit #2C.
I think you're dreaming if you think you can get him for 5 x 5M. The financial landscape has changed for FA's.
