Do you think Oklahoma can make the CFP with a loss?

I think Georgia is likely in unless they lose 2 games. They just look like the best team right now.
Bama gets in if it wins the SEC championship and only has 1 loss (so they need to beat GA).
Likely one of the Big Ten East teams gets in - Michigan, PSU, MSU or Ohio State assuming they win Big10 Champ and only has 1 loss or less.
Cincy I would assume has to get in if undefeated.
Oregon if it only has 1 loss and wins Pac10.
Oklahoma gets in if undefeated, but if it loses it would fall behind unless Bama loses 2 games, Cincy loses and eiter Big Ten Champ has 2 losses or Oregon loses.

My power rankings:
1. SEC - Georgia (can afford to lose 1 game)
2. Oklahoma (drops if it loses and tough schedule)
3. Cincy (like OK drops if it loses)
4. Big Ten East Champ - assuming they win Big10 with 0 or 1 loss (OSU, UM, MSU, PSU)
5. Bama - Needs to win the SEC, but if it does it will get in.
6. Oregon - If they finish with 1 loss and wins Pac-10 and if OSU wins Big-10 it will be very tough to put OSU in above them.

That horrendous losing streak is coming back to haunt them.

If they had even been just mediocre during that stretch, they'd make it pretty easily.
Hell. If they'd beaten the Red Bulls LAST WEEKEND, they'd probably be in.

The first week of August, they lost two home games in four days, giving up seven goals in the process. And it was Atlanta and DC who beat them, and one glance at the standings tells you how bad that wound up being. It took two months before they got any confidence back.

Just proves that all games are equally critical?

Crew became too passive
Losing streak was massive
Disappointing season
Without a good reason.

Somebody once told me
The Crew were gonna show me
I shouldn’t be so damn cynical

But that mid-season skid
Sure don’t feel massive
All the games are now critical

All Games Critical
Cannot Afford to Drop Points
Regardless of When

Real poets use Haiku.

Pfft. Real poets use sonnets.

Defending champs began the season well:
15 games played, 24 points secured.
No expectations of an evil spell;
Crew fans all thought postseason play assured.
But then arrived the last game in July
And stumbles in the games began to rise.
Eight of nine games with no points to supply
To standings climbs needed for playoff tries.
So then the team did face a grueling test:
Can they bounce back, revive their playoff plan?
Few games remained; they'd need to take the rest
To win back hopes and dreams of every fan
We're down to one, final November game
To see if our return hopes still remain.

Crew are officially out. Of course, there was no realistic possibility of them getting in coming into today, but hey, it was technically possible.

At least they went out with a win.
